FIS Cross-Country World Cup - World Cup Final 2011

 

        No dia 20 de Março durante o World Cup Final 2011 ocorreu Women's 25 km em Falun, Suécia. Marit Bjeorgen da Noruega ficou com 1° lugar, Justyna Kowalczyk da Polônia ficou com o 2° lugar e  Therese Johaug da Noruega ficou com o 3° lugar.

      Petra Majdic da Slovenia e Arianna Follis da Itália  anunciaram o fim da carreira (ends professional racing career).

     Justyna Kowalczyk assegurou seu 1° lugar no FIS Overall and Distance World Cup standings com 2073 pontos. Marit Bjoergen ficou em 2° com 1578 pontos e Arianna Follis ficou em 3° com 1310 pontos.

It was a great season for me – a long but a great season. The third overall victory means a lot. Today’s race I enjoyed as I had a too big gap to the lead but also a comfortable lead to the others. Now I will go home for a couple of days – I was since Drammen not anymore at home and then I will go for the Polish Championships and later on to a marathon to Russia. Afterwards already the preparation for the next season starts with hopefully the fourth overall
