Martin Fourcade

-Jean Guilluame Beatrix commented, “It is a nice surprise for us. This is my first relay of the, so it is especially nice to win.”
-Boeuf: “I hope to be on the podium in an individual competition as soon as possible. Until now, one day I ski fast and cannot get the bullets on the target, the next day I bullets hit and the skiing is not as good.”
-Martin Fourcade : “It was a funny feeling when I looked at the target… it was not my best moment.” After three podium appearances this week and 32.5K of competition, Fourcade admitted a bit of fatigue. “I feel very good and very happy after this relay but very tired. Antholz is a good place but it is hard to race here.  A week of no competitions will be good for me.”

-Birnbacher was not surprised by the German performance. “Our team is very close. If everyone does their job, we can get this kind of a result.”

Dominik Landertinger

Tobias Eberhard: “This was really important for our team. There was a lot of pressure from the media. It was the perfect moment for us to show a sign that things are going better for us.”

Tobias Eberhard AUT
“The tracks here are pretty hard. I tried to start out slowly because I realized in the relay that I lose a bit in the end. I worked very well at the shooting range and everything worked out great.”

Alexey Volkov RUS
I won against myself today because I was sick the last days, I had a fever and missed two competitions. Today is the first day on which I feel better again and thus I am very happy.”

Lukas Hofer ITA
“In prone it was my mistake, I got up too fast after the last shot. In standing I made a tactical mistake and came to the range too fast so I missed twice. Today I am pretty happy with my form on the skis. I was sick and after the competition today I hope that I am 100 percent fit again now for the World Championships."
